Send Judd Gregg A Brick!

by Michael Graham May 31, 2006 @ 19:06

Sen. Judd Gregg (R for "Rat"--NH) voted for amnesty, tax breaks for illegals and "consultations" with Mexico.

Let him know that you support the "enforcement first" approach. Use this website to send him a brick--concrete proof that you care about border security!

King Philip High School: No Military Need Apply

by Michael Graham May 30, 2006 @ 17:24
King Philip Regional, a small public high school in Wrentham, MA has two graduates who've received appointments to West Point. That's quite an accomplishment for the school and the suburban communities it serves.

So why, then, won't the superintendent of schools allow representatives of the military participate in the awards ceremony for graduates and present them with their appointments? Why won't the high school principal answer questions from parents about the decision to bar military presenters from the awards event?

The Kiwanis, the local book club, and various other groups will be honoring graduates tomorrow night. Why not West Point or the ROTC? Do they have some problem with the US military?

You can ask the superintendent for yourself:

Richard J Robbat, Superintendent Mailing Address: 18 King StreetNorfolk, MA 02056
Phone: (508) 520-7991FAX: (508) 520-2044E-mail: robbatr@kingphilip.org

And you can meet these two future cadets here.

Channel 5 is on the story, too!

If I can ever get an official from King Philip to answer these questions, you'll hear it on 96.9 FM TALK.

That's what Jerry Corsi fears after reading about agreements reached between President Bush and the leaders of Mexico and Canada. He's all over this story, and so are we.

An Englishman Speaks Out On American Immigration

by Michael Graham May 26, 2006 @ 19:07
John Derbyshire is now an American citizen, but he is extremely unimpressed by by the US Senate has done to our immigration laws. You can read his entire commentary here, but the highlight for me is:

The stupidity and rottenness of CIRA is really beyond the ability of a single human mind to encompass it.

And for Republicans, the most shocking, most shameful thing of all, is that this act to vastly swell the number of future Democratic voters, to bring about "the greatest expansion of the welfare state in 35 years" (Robert Rector), to kick working-class Americans in the teeth, to render meaningless the very concepts of our nation and our citizenship — in fact, to shove U.S. citizens off the sidewalk so that foreigners can be awarded special privilieges not available to us — this appalling monstrosity was cheered through by a Republican Senate at the urging of a Republican president. For shame, for shame, for shame.

I will not vote for any politician who helped pass this bill; I will not vote for any politician who says so much as a word in its favor — make that a syllable — and I will not even vote for any politician who agrees to go into conference on this horror. How big are Capitol Hill garbage bins? That's the only place this heap of dreck belongs.

Amen, brother!

WHITE HOUSE: "Illegal Immigration Is Just A Speeding Ticket"

by Michael Graham May 26, 2006 @ 18:36
You need more proof that the White House just doesn't get it? Earlier today Tony Snow had this to say about illegal immigration:

"If you had a traffic ticket and you paid it, you're not forever a speeder, are you? So the fact is, you have paid your debt to society. And we have come up with a way to make sure that the [illegal immigrant's] debt to society gets paid. Then you move forward."

The idea that illegal immigration is no more serious than speeding is dopey enough. But worse, the analogy gets it all wrong. An illegal immigrant isn't a speeder, he's an unlicensed driver. That is, he's engaged in an activity from which he is barred. It's not "don't do that so fast," but rather "it's illegal for you to be doing that at all."

Do we tell unlicensed drivers "say, why don't you keep driving without a license until you can get to the RMV, pass the written test and the driving test. Then, we'll make you pay three of our last five tickets, and...viola! You're a legal driver!"

No, Tony, we don't.

NEW HAMPSHIRE ALERT! YOUR SENATOR SUPPORTS AMNESTY!

by Michael Graham May 26, 2006 @ 10:54

Republican US Senator Judd Gregg of New Hampshire was one of 23 Republicans who voted in favor of:

--Amnesty for immigration criminals;

--Social Security benefits for people who committed Social Security fraud while working illegally in the US;

--Amnesty for every employer who committed tax and Social Security fraud hiring illegals;

--Requiring the American government to consult with the Mexican government BEFORE building a security fence on our border.

--Bringing at least 60 million new non-Americans to the US in the next 20 years.

Why would Sen. Gregg of New Hampshire, widely viewed as a conservative Republican, vote for open borders and amnesty? If you live in New Hampshire, ask him!

His NH offices are:

41 Hooksett Road Manchester, NH 03104(603) 622-7979

125 North Main Street Concord, NH 03301(603) 225-7115
